Cecilia Kindstrand has spent the last 15 years working for Swedish Match in Brussels, a company with tobacco harm reduction at the core of its business. She predominantly focuses on EU regulatory matters, especially the TPD 2014/40, the legislation banning the ‘proof of concept’ of tobacco harm reduction in 26 of the 27 Member States. Since PMI’s acquisition of Swedish Match, she now represents PMI. The focus of her work remains the same.

Ángeles Muntadas-Prim Lafita, born in Barcelona (graduated in Fine Arts- UAB and Master’s Degree in Oriental ceramics) chairs the Spanish Vapers’ Association (ANESVAP). Created in 2014, ANESVAP is the only association in Spain standing for the rights of vapers. ANESVAP is also a founding member of INNCO, having been Angeles President and member of its Board for several years. She is co-founder/organizer of the THR Summit Spain (2018), which brought together THR experts from around the world. She has been instrumental in promoting the Platform for THR in Spain (2019) for physicians and scientists, and in the creation of ARDT Iberoamérica, a network of user associations in Latin America, mainly focused on vaping. She also created the Vapers’ Book of Testimonies, having collected over 1,500 written experiences from SNP consumers in Spain. She meets with various politicians, medical associations and media, and also attends various events and rallies to ensure that all vapers are represented.

Ángeles Muntadas-Prim Lafita, nacida en Barcelona (licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona y máster en cerámica oriental) preside la Asociación Española de usuarios de vaporizadores personales (ANESVAP). Creada en 2014, ANESVAP es la única
sociación en España que defiende los derechos de los vapeadores. ANESVAP es también miembro fundador de INNCO, habiendo Ángeles formado parte de su Junta Directiva durante
varios años. Escofundadora/organizadora del THR Summit Spain (2018), que reunió a expertos en reducción de daños por tabaquismo de todo el mundo. Ha sido instrumental en la promoción de la Plataforma de reducción de daños por tabaquismo en España (2019) para médicos y científicos y en la creación de ARDT Iberoamérica, una red de asociaciones de usuarios en América Latina centrada en el vapeo y la reducción de daños por tabaquismo. También creó el Libro de testimonios de usuarios de vaporizadores personales en España recogiendo más de 1.500 testimonios. Se reúne con varios políticos, asociaciones médicas y medios de comunicación y también asiste a varios eventos y manifestaciones para asegurar que todos los usuarios estén representados.

Konstantinos Farsalinos, MD, MPH, PhD is a physician, public health expert and research associate at the University of Patras and the University of West Attica in Greece. He has been conducting laboratory, clinical and epidemiological research on smoking and tobacco harm reduction since 2011. As of 2026, he has published more than 120 studies and articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and has presented in more than 80 international conferences. His research was influential in shaping the EU’s regulatory framework on vaping. He is a founder and acting vice president of the International Association on Smoking Control and Harm Reduction (SCOHRE). In November 2020, he was declared a Highly Cited Researcher 2019 by the Web of Science, a list of 6200 researchers (out of 9 million examined) with the highest impact in global science in 21 scientific fields in the past decade.
