"Smile Study" From the Center of Excellence for the Acceleration of Harm Reduction - Marilena Marchetti
SMILE Study is an international research project led by CoEHAR that examines the impact of modified-risk tobacco products on oral health. By comparing smokers who switch to alternative nicotine delivery systems with those who continue smoking, the study evaluates changes in dental and gum health over time. Improving health and dental appearance can be a motivational factor to quit smoking for those smokers who are concerned about their oral health and their dental appearance.
