Tobacco, Suki, Kava, and Alcohol Use Patterns Among iTaukei Adults Across 8 Fijian Villages: Results From a Community-Based Participatory Research Survey - Marewa Glover
In most countries, people who smoke do so daily following a usual pattern - a habitual dipping into their cigarette packet several times a day. But not all people across all cultures smoke like this. This film presents the patterns of cigarette, suki (a locally grown tobacco), kava, and alcohol use among Indigenous iTaukei adults across eight rural Fijian villages. The survey was conducted in collaboration with one of the tribes using a community-based participatory research design.
