Advancing Tobacco Harm Reduction - Kurt Gottfried

Now is the time to realize the harm reduction opportunity for adult tobacco consumers. We all have an urgent role to play to advance tobacco harm reduction as an important public health strategy that is based on sound science and evidence. As FDA continues evaluating and authorizing applications for a portfolio of smoke-free alternatives, the opportunity becomes even greater. Harm reduction is meant to complement the traditional public health strategies of reducing initiation and increasing cessation. Education and information are needed to fully realize the opportunity. This video uses the results from Altria's THR Engagement Survey results to expand upon these ideas.
