Perspectives on Tobacco Harm Reduction - Kristen Maddux

In late 2022, Altria conducted a nationwide survey among societal stakeholders 21+ to understand perceptions, attitudes and opinions on tobacco harm reduction, smoke-free products and tobacco-related policies. The survey results found that stakeholders broadly support harm reduction – not prohibition – as the right path forward for tobacco policy. To realize the harm reduction opportunity for the millions of adults who smoke and can’t or won’t quit, information, education and action is needed today.
