Description:
Smoke-free country targets: New Zealand by 2025, UK by 2030, Canada by 2035. According to the definition of the World Health Organization, a smoke-free country has a smoking prevalence of less than 5%. New Zealand and British government documents show that smokeless tobacco (includes vaping & heated tobacco) help to achieve a smoke-free country. In Taiwan, there are more than 1.2 million SLT(vaping & heated tobacco) users, which means the Taiwan government undercharges by almost NTD 20 billion in one year. According to Yam’s poll, 87% of people in Taiwan don’t support banning manufacturing and importing vaping products. SLT (vaping and heated tobacco) products can help Taiwan achieve the goal for Smoke-free Taiwan by 2040, and decrease the harm from cigarettes to health, the environment, and public safety.
