It is important not to lose sight of why these products exist and the responsibility that sits with manufacturers to ensure their product is safe and of high quality. Ultimately such products are important to help realise a reduction in the morbidity and mortality caused by smoking combustible cigarettes, a concept known as Tobacco Harm Reduction.
