Professor Dr. Sharifa Ezat Wan Puteh is a public health physician whose work are at the confluence of health policy, health economics and public health. She has served in significant roles including as the Dean of School of Liberal Sciences, President of Malaysia's Society of Harm Reduction (MSHR), the Chairperson for health economics in the Technical Advisory Committee for Health Economic Evaluation with Health Technology Assessment MoH. She is a consultant to governmental bodies on using casemix in health and technical advisors to a few LMIC on various health-related matters, including tobacco control, health financing and hospital efficiency.
